PROFILE
Prior I have been previously searching for Jobs, not career opportunities, targeting my basic skills; computer literacy, data entry, PCB assembly. I have 25 years experience in Digital Electronics, 22 computing, including 8 network management. My learning curve is a virtual clocked rising edge, I learnt 'C' in 2 days.
Realisation With an increasingly demanding life, and a flick through the Independent's IT jobs section, a low skills approach seemed less rational. I also noticed typical job requirements didn't look as daunting as I expected.
Watertight I take a [holistic] mathematical approach with the algorithms I write (and others comment on this). They perform beyond given specs, to whole-concept, so you get an "'all-terrain' vehicle". I also push around limitations where I find them, eg with the required font definition of my "CV" heading, I anti-aliased a vector representation: Originally for a low-resolution printer, now recycled in this HTML document as varying backgrounds in a Table. This also combines graphics and text as one textfile, able to survive typical transmission protocols.
But First.... Basic Data Entry/Assembling etc work; quick to get into, and good for the soul. I am midway through this process (saving enough for subsequent expense), having worked for Reader's Digest, producing junkmail, then Parcelforce Logistics, distributing it. I wonder if there are any paper recycling mills in the area.

Skills Vision & measuring/positioning abilities reliable unaided down to 5µm. Typing speeds - Recently tested standard 67WPM, data entry 93WPM, inefficient long-entry under stress 8000KDPH.

Interests Trying to find peace and quiet, abducting aliens (sinc. : photos), digital electronics/computing to fit misc needs, Gatecrashing. Socialising, broadening mind & behaviour.
